Christmas
So, here we are again! Its been over a year now since we opened, so this is our second Christmas beck. So far, so good:) Its been so much fun reconnecting with everyone this last year, and planning this Christmas at the shop has been a joy. I really hope everyone can stop by this month, maybe just to say hi, maybe to pick up a special ornament for a friend or family member, maybe to frame a new family photo! (check the website for our awesome family photo framing deal). But, wherever this holiday season is taking you, we wish you a very merry holiday, and a happy new year!

Happy Fourth of July!
Its finally here, the long weekend we have been waiting for! I hope everyone has fun plans for relaxing and enjoying the company of friends and family. We are all excited about what summer has brought to our little corner of the world. A new frozen yogurt store opened next door recently and that has brought all kinds of new traffic to our area. Its so much fun seeing all the little kids, and meeting all the new people. Defiantly feels like summertime! Stop on by, its hoppin!

a word from framerjake
From Jake
My passion is art, and for most of my career I have been blessed to earn a living doing fine custom picture framing. It is an honor for me to see a client's face after they entrust us with their art, relying on our framing design. The reward is witnessing their gratitude on completion day. Custom picture framing is truly the finishing touches of any tangible art. Most of us have memory cards filled with jpegs or if we are lucky, raw photographic images stored upon our memory devices. It is our zeal to see those printed and then properly framed and enjoyed upon one's wall. After all, what pleasure is there having magnificent images stored where you cannot enjoy them? Granted, custom picture framing is expensive and is no doubt considered a "luxury" expense, but I believe that if your image is important enough to bring to us and inquire about our services, there is definitely a way we can make it work so that you can enjoy it everyday upon your walls.

Well, were coming to the end of another month, and the year is picking up speed. I cant believe its already the end of February, 2010! The year is just flying by!
I just wanted to thank everyone for all your support over these first few months of business and for the year or so before, trying to get the store open! You all have been an awesome and wonderful support system. And a continued source of inspiration! We push ourselves to keep making more crazy and creative designs so you have the best, most inspired framing for your art. We love what we do, and thank you for letting us do it for you!
Also, we are always looking for new ideas, or input, or opinions of our fans. We want to hear your thoughts:) Send us an email or message us on facebook. Cant wait to hear from you!

Real Frame Logo Design
New logo design using real frames. I was playing around with different effects for the center "C" and came up with this "glass" look. It may be interesting to have different art in all the frames, but we'll see.

Cool Ideas
Thought this was kinda a cool idea, I may be posting various inspirational material here. Hopefully it will bring you back.
Beat from designing this BLOG
I am definitely not a HTML dude so building this from a template was quite a challenge. I hope the staff and myself will utilize this, as it is a good tool to post pics and longer posts. We will see. Thank you all!

Happy New Year!
So, 2009 was a year of big changes for pretty much everybody who doesn't live off the land in the backwoods of America. Everyone has been adjusting to a new reality of times in which tomorrow may not necessarily be better than today. Where prosperity is not necessarily a given.
But even with all the dark and discouraging talk and pessimistic forecasts I see good things. We as a whole have grown up a bit in this last year and a half. We have learned lessons (some painful, some hopeful), made new friendships, and relearned what really matters in our lives. I for one am grateful for the opportunity to see things differently.
But I have to say, the thing I am most grateful for is being back here, at Dry Creek and University, framing memories for all the people I have come to love and care about in the seven years I have framed here. It may sound trite, but to be able to give my customers something beautiful and functional to show off the things they love is one of the great joys in my life. As an artist I gave most of my work away, so it could be enjoyed, and as a framer I get the same satisfaction. You may not think about me as you look at your art there on the wall (I really kind of hope you don't), but my joy is in knowing I made your life a little more beautiful, and a little brighter. Thank you for giving me that opportunity! And I look forward to serving you for years to come!
